Wolves Leather products strive to be synonymous with quality and longevity. Meticulous attention to detail is what makes our products stand out. Each step process is carefully considered - from the materials we source, to the individual regard given to each step of production, ending with the thoughtful packaging and delivery.
The process starts with 3-4oz and 10-11oz Herrman Oak leather, all cut by hand, to fit the desired product.
Each hide is carefully selected with the passion to craft the perfect piece.
After being cut, the leather is custom dyed. Then, a full 24 hours must pass before any other work is done on the piece.
Wax is melted down and applied to the leather to create a natural sealer.
Locally found beeswax is used on each leather piece that is crafted. This beeswax is taken from treatment-free beehives. Untreated hives means no pesticides, or medications used inside the hive.
Each piece of leather is hand sewn using a traditional method known as the saddle stitch.
This stitching is a strong durable knot that is created with each pass.
After all of this is finished, the edges are smoothed down with Eco-Flo Gum Tragacanth (which is a natural gum based edge slicker). Beeswax then is applied to create an even smoother finish.
The next step is to carefully package and ship out the product.
